What would you think if Tri-Ace and Tales Studio worked together?

I've actually thought about this a lot in my own fantasy. I've always wanted to see the old group work together again. I know it'll probably never happen, but still. Just think of how cool the game could be. I would want to see something completely new that we've never seen before. They could interpret ideas from all of their games. I really hope someday we could see something like that. With all the companies merging these days, it may not be an impossible idea. What would you like to see from them if they did work together?

Toying with the idea: Considering "Team Symphonia" consist of completely new staff never related to tri-Ace's staff they are out. So it would be some long time tri-Ace staff working with "Team Destiny" on a potential 2D games. The 2D part is again awkward though since tri-Ace pretty much let go of all its 2D staff after VP1. Also with tri-Ace being so prolific in 3D development 2D wouldn't make that much sense. On the other hand in ToDr Team Destiny did tiny steps toward 3D while retaining their overall 2D approach. So what they probably could do is a ToDr-like remix of ToP with all new, hole-free story and a mix of 2D with VP2 like 3D, or something like that... eh. =P

I totally never thought about that. Your completely right about the Tri-Ace and 3D thing. I never really understood why companies thought it nessesary to toss out 2D. Some of the best games of all time were made in 2D, you'd think that they wouldn't completely give up on it. I heard recently that Eternal Sonata is the first pseudo Tri-Ace and Tales Studio project. It was developed by Tri-Crescendo which is a subgroup of Tri-Ace. I want to see a new game, maybe even Star Ocean 4 where the hero is able to travel to many worlds, even the world of the Tales series. They really need to make ammends with one another and work together more.

I never though about that but I though about something long time since Valkyrie appear in TOP lending u Sleipnir/Pegasus and takes the Gungnir and that she part of the storyline I guess? and then you see her in TOE facing her. So I research about her and that she has her own game, maybe tales studio can make a game about Valkyrie, Whirlo, Kamuz, Sabine, Zouna, and Zue
