I'm still sore about Crimson Echoes myself. I think I'm going to have to take a year off Square-Enix.

So I posted this on gamefaqs, too, but it there seems to be a possibility that the ps3 version is going to have an increased native resolution..

http://forums.gametrailers.com/thread/star-ocean-4--xbox-ps3-screens/926907?page=2

There's a good example (along with a hilarious ninja gaiden picture) on that page.

So, some people pointed out to me that there were shots of the 360 version in 1280x720 (and even one in 1920x1080, I'm  told) during battle with copious amounts of anti aliasing and image enhancement, while in-game, the battles were in 882x496.  I suppose there's a possibility SE released some shots with image enhancement and some without.. Personally I'm hopeful for the bump up, it really looks better.

What do you guys think, is it likely?

Edit: Although Gamestop has never been reliable, the page below from their site says "exhilarating combat expands upon the franchise’s dynamic real-time battle system, now featuring amazing graphics through Blu-ray Disc"
