More to come... I like the character art in this game better than the previous games in the series so far already.

Yeah the character designs are easily the best by far and the graphics looks simply amazing. Lets just hope the gameplay holds water. I wasn't really a fan of SO3's gameplay.

I really recommend giving SO2 a run through. Bad voice acting aside, its a fantastic game sporting great gameplay and music. Storyline isn't the best though.
EDIT: tri-Ace must have an archer fetish. The female is an archer here and in Unidiscovery the female main is also an archer. Lets not forget that for most of VP, Lenneth is better with Bows then Swords.

I think this is a week old or something, but it hasn't been posted here.
Looks very nice, but then again, Star Ocean games tend to when they're revealed.

Last Hope for X360 in Japan indeed.
The PS3 version should be more than secured on this one, it's ridiculous that it's "in the air".

This game is so, so pretty.
I so badly hope this game is good. I really, really like the sound of the setting. SO3 was a disappointment, but VP2 restored my faith. Yet the fact that this is the next Star Ocean leaves me a little wary. If they are using SO3 as a basis for the game system, I hope they iron out all the stupid crap... and give me a bit more freedom! SO2 was open enough at the beginning that you could really mess around with a LOT of things before continuing the storyline.

I felt So3 was restricted cause of the item creation system... all the other stuff is ok, I guess

That is some really great eye-candy. I was always fond of the space screenshots and animations from the previous Star Oceans I've played so I'm glad to see they haven't neglected to include some excellent galactic action shots. Is that a gas station in the second picture? Well, I guess the ship has to run on something... : P

The gas station shot just looks so unreal, the lighting is perfect. I hope there are more environments like that in the game.

Latest trailer containing English narrator (like in SO1) and Japanese subtitles.

That second pic took my breath away, literally; like taking a picture of a cosplayer at the gas station in the early morning.....so pretty.

Yeah, second pic is jaw dropping. Man, I can't wait for this to come out... I just hope it's better than SO3.
