So, I've been replaying this with the goal of breaking the game as hard as I can. Current progress is going well. Claude got a Marvel Sword before Cross Cave, everyone's in the 20's and I just got to Lacour, and my skills are going decently.

Game's still decent after all this time, which is impressive. Any thoughts?

I replayed it last year for the first time in five years. It was still pretty fun, despite the battle system having not aged very well (IMO).

Yeah, the battles are aged pretty poorly, for all that it's still pretty decent fun. I'm aiming for a bit of a different party than I had last time. Going for Claude/Rena/Opera/Bowman, I think. Might sub Opera out for Chisato if that doesn't work well.

I go solo claude all the way almost all the time now. The entire game *IS* the CoT for me at this point - I think the battle system hasn't aged much personally, but I'm less opt to go back and hate something I liked before

I'm playing it right now (for the first time). I started a while ago and was playing on and off. Now I'm giving Cave of Trials a shot before I beat the final boss. My greatest peeve with this game is the horrible voice acting for most of the characters, and the cruelty of the game developers to leave no option to turn them off.

I'm replaying it myself, got the Eternal Sphere right after the Tourny in Lacour and just finished the Hoffmann Ruins, for some reason this time around the game's running better than it did last year; last time I spent most of my time trying to get the thing to work
