Well, first of all, I must say more 5 hours later because it's the time I played this great game. My first impressions of this game : Great !(nearly awesome)

This game it's a mix between Final Fantasy and Tales Games. Final Fantasy for the graphic and the story, tales games for the gameplay and other minor stuff like item creation.

Graphics are great but not awesome(I'm a big fan of SE so maybe I've expected to much). But gameplay is really what I like the much about this game. You control your player like in a tale game but in a full-time action (like in FF12, every monsters is on the map which mean very rapid game, but fast I mean really fast because the time between attacks is the time you take to smash the buttons of your controller). The AI for your allies is OK, they aren't genious but they are not dummies too. The most important is that you can press only one button to demand to allies to heal everyone.

Other interesting thing is the number of allies who fought in the same time. From what I've seen so far, your party can be 12 characters who fought in the same time. This mean big battlefield with a lot of peoples and fun battles  haha.

By battlefield, I must say that the maps are very, very big(maybe too big).

It's just a little appreciation of the game, I'll write about it again when I'll play a little more.

Try it, it really worth it

P.S.Sorry for the very bad quality(grammar and syntax) of my text, I took something like one minute to write it down and english it's not my language(but it's not a excuse).

Has anyone completed this game yet? I have to say this game has SO much potential. I like it, not love it. Its enjoyable and I get excited for the next event and I am quickly disappointed by the AWFUL voice acting. Im sorry I dont mind reading it but sometimes the text is really difficult to read because there is no window to support the text which can be pretty heavy in text. I like the character growth so far, but its so hard to get into it with voice acting like that. I cant emphasize how bad it is. Also the graphics can be amazing but then it looks horrible when they zoom in on the faces during dialogue because it looks like they didnt even try to match any kind of recognizable anunciations of lip movement. They look like manicans. Maybe im just spoiled by the calibur that Lost Odyssey put into their graphical detail. I dont know. I think I just need some motivation to complete this game. Does it have an amazing story line? I want this game to be great. O well its enjoyable.

Well the style is more Rouge Galaxy rather then FF and Tales

Ya I am too hearing different thing about people say its good and people say it suck; but everyone is different because they have their own opinion on it. I have the game and bought it on the first day it came out; played the beginning and think the game is great; when my friend left the next day after coming over I was going to go play and it seem to went missing; he calls me and told me he going to borrow it; I got so mad that he didn't say anything; anyways still need to get it back from him and banning him from coming over for a year  haha

One of my friends actually managed to buy it, and after giving it a play myself I think its really good. Like an enhanced rogue galaxy. I could definitely see myself "borrowing" it if I ever got an xbox.  haha

I beat it in 29 hours. Thought it was pretty good. I wasn't expecting a ton from the story, since a lot of Tri-Ace games, in my mind, are more about being a backdrop for the gameplay and battle systems than they are for telling a really awesome compelling story. However, the reveal about why Capell and Sigmund look alike was not something I could have ever expected. I mean, looking back, it was foreshadowed in a couple places, but that's only in hindsight. During those scenes, I'm not really sure if I thought "This is going to be important later on."

Don't know if I want to do the Seraphic Gate. I have other stuff I need to play.
