Wikipedia translating Tales of Destiny Remake !?

That's not wikipedia translating it, that's people putting up their translations on a wikipedia-like site. There's a whole bunch of sites like that, for several things.

Well, apparently, they translated the main storyline script and a fair bit of the skits, so you can still use it to play the game.

I don't think they made a patch though, i'd have to look on the wiki page with my PSP internet since my PC is dead right now, oh well =/

Hey Cless if you're there, maybe when TOP, TOD2, and TOP Narikiri dungeon (oh yeah and the TOP animation) are finished, maybe you could do a TODr translation project using this site to help? it has a lot on it to use, maybe it would be a quick project to translate?

TOR would be awesome too, i never played using a "3 linear motion 2d" battle system before but i seen vids, looks a bit confusing, but i've heard it's one of the best tales so if it's translated, i won't have any worries playing it

I think when TOP is done I think they going to work on TOD2 mainly for so many months or years before starting or even announcing a new translation, or maybe a surprise announcement just around the corner . Maybe they will start with TODr first because it wouldn't make sense to start TOR since TODr is prequel to TOD2. I know that TOR is older just hope they do it first.

I dont think that will be finish anytime soon or even budge - reason: STUPID WIDTH FONTS!!!!!! though I do hope the day this game is finish because I do want to play as the awesome duel and more story to aselian time line

My understanding is that Cless and company are translating these in the order of release, so ToR will likely be next after ToD2. In any case though, let the poor man finish with his labor of love first.

well i just hope TODr comes first since i just couldnt bring myself to finish the PSX version (annoying encounter rate, forced to always use Stahn etc.) but either way if rebirth comes first, i'll still be glad since it's a tales and IMO, the best game series ever! (lol took me 5 minutes or less to type this, since i used my PSP)

last winter, i got a copy of ToDr. I have played it simultaneously with the original verson on PSX. Many changes between the two version but it always for the best.

I used the wikipedia translating tales of destiny remake for the swordian device and it will help a lot. I used it also for re-rise when I had difficulty to translate the name of the equipment.

In fact, I think that the wikipedia translating is more for that kind of use. I really don't think that the purpose is to create a patch.

well I've played ToDr before ToR and off course ToDr's gameplay is much better, also I've played without any help from faqs or other way so guess the  story is much easier to follow than ToR. but it is tales series we're talking about so whatever comes first will be received with arms wide open
