Out of the entire "Tales of" series(mothership or spin-off) what is your favorite Arte?Also I'am not talking about Hi-Ougis but mine is a tie between Cless's' version of Satsugeki Bukouken or Kukkan Shouten'i

Kogahazan. Versatile, fast, basic and deadly. I love it.


Generally I find magic artes to be more interesting though. Personal favorites are Meteor Swarm, Explosion, Indignation and Klarth's: Summon Luna.

Maouengekiha.

I like the way Stahn says it (MaOU, ENGEki-HA!), and the wave of fire that synchronizes with the word rhythm. It's an oldie, but a goodie. I'm also partial to Klarth's summoning of Origin.

Chirisazame/Sword Rain. Not AkisazameAlpha, just normal Sword Rain. Like Kogahazan and Goshi, I also like Kogahazan/Tiger Blade.

i really like senkuureppa, chirisazame, and kogahazan for physical artes. for magic artes, i really like cyclone, indignation, and ground dasher.

Ok, I'll cheat. One melee/strike and one magic...

Melee: Houryuu Mueiken. Sure it's got a bit of a lead up time, but a clean hit and the effects it has will pretty much dispel all worries about that handicap. I've got countless 'favourites' for utilitarian purposes or maybe because a particular arte has saved my butt countless times like a mid-air maouengekiha in ToDr, but houryuu mueiken is pretty much my favourite for being what it is and how the execution feels like it's a killing blow.

Magic: Demon Lance Zero. If you've seen it, you'll agree it's impressive. Not to mention, about as broken as Rita spam casting Tidal Wave. Again, there's plenty of spells which are vying for the eye-candy trophy or the utility trophy or even just the nostalgia factor such as getting your ass kicked by a Freeze Lancer back in ToE, but excluding hi-ougis and the like, Demon Lance Zero just screams 'DIE'.

Indignation, Mega Sonic Chaos (this one screams GTFO), Ground Dasher and... I dunno if it's spelled correctly Light Spear.

Hi-Ogies must be included O_O, Rising Phoenix and Dhaos Laser (From Vesperia) just rocks Smiley

If we are talking about Hi-Ougi(s) then mine are Cless's Miekuu Zanshouken from of VS. since he says more then just Miekuu Zanshouken especially in RM2

if we are counting hi-ougis, then i have to pick Brilliant Overlord from TotA. it's... awesome (minus the fact that you have to use a much weaker weapon to use it), and Rutee's Embrace End from ToD:DC. i can't count how many times i wished i could summon about 10 floating spears of ice and impale someone with them Cheesy... but i'm not violent.
