These are just rumors... anyone remember Tales of Legendia being a ToS sequel for GC?

No, because it wasn't.  Legendia came out on the PS2, unless I'm missing something.

I wasn't saying that it was. I guess I was being unclear. There were rumors floating around before the game's official announcement, and should have stated that. My apologies for the confusion.

ToP PS3.. they JUST ported this.. unlikely.
New Tales PS3.. well, we've already pretty much assumed this.
ToS PSP.. I suppose this isn't too far-fetched.
ToE PS2.. it doesn't really need it, but this is Namco.. maybe/unlikely.

I heard about that... I'd rather just have them make a Tales game for Wii, but whatever floats their boat.

As would I, but if it goes to the PS3 I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.. the series had been over-saturated in the PS2 era so I'm not likely to care if the series moves to a platform I probably won't be buying for years.

The PS2 port of Symphonia was sloppy enough. I absolutely refuse to believe it's going to get ported to even weaker hardware.

ToP PS3. eh. deep down inside I really want to see ToP remade again with a modern engine and completely revamped gameplay like ToDr. But they've already thinned the game out with two ports in just the last 4 years. Ports and remake often don't sell too well compared to their originals (although ToP PSX did sell over twice as well as the original. But ToDr didn't look like it was on track for even meeting half the sales of the original based on its first week sales). With that fact, declining sales in the series, and PS3 being priced at a premium... could they really be thinking about throwing away so many resources? They probably could. It's Namco, afterall.

I retain my opinion that ToE doesn't need to be remade. It's the games that came before it that did...

Yeah, I don't think that ToE needs to be remade either.  I thought that it was the pinnacle of the Tales series.

I kinda want to see ToP get a true remake too, but how many times are you going to remake/port a game?  It's getting kind of tiring now.  They should just let it lie.
