Edit: Imageshack seems to like deleting random pictures. I'll replace the missing pictures if there's a demand for it.

So I finished my new game+ of Vesperia, skipping things that don't really add anything like the time consuming 100 fatal strike titles for each character, playing again just to get that low level achievement, and the speedster achievement.

As we know, the game is riddled with typos and errors. In the course of playing again, I thought I'd take crappy cell phone pictures of these errors as well as a few things I found interesting.

Edit: If you'll notice, I used the word error whereas Cless, in his post below, used mistake. While both can be, for the most part, used interchangeably, there is some issue of semantics to be discussed here. In this case, I recall a poster in one of my middle school classes saying something like an error is something that can be fixed, a mistake cannot. Not caring to delve further into it, in using the word "error," I expressed my implicit hope that this can be fixed some day, comparable to Cless' wishes for a patch for the US 360 version of Vesperia.

To their credit, most of this stuff is from sidequests and other optional things. Since they're mostly sidequests, there are few spoilers, but there still may be a few indirect ones for those who don't want anything spoiled.

Most are self explanatory; I'll be commenting as I see fit. A few are debatable, so point out the ones you think are. The pictures are in no particular order, and be warned there's quite a few.

I cut off the "and", that's not a typo. The real one is "For" is capitalized when it shouldn't be.

"mean" should probably be "means" or maybe there's something I'm not seeing.

*STORY SPOILER*

*End spoiler*

Debatable. Customer could be customers, but I guess this could go either way and still be okay.

A rare occurrence of only needing one experience point to level up.

Magic lens kicked in just as two enemies died.

No typo, just Yuri's rapist smile.

Even the game agrees that Yuri's too pretty.

These typos makes my heart filled with hatred too. Debatable, I would say "fill" instead of "filled", but I guess he's downplaying the process of his heart filling with hatred and means his heart already has become filled?

Is it the cool new thing to not space afterall?

Debatable, I would say "isn't" instead of "aren't" or do others beg to differ?

It should be Blastia instead of Bastia unless this was on purpose for some reason. It's still spelled like this in the other fights with him.

Weird spacing.

There's a space at the very beginning of the sentence for some reason.

More weird spacing

It's only like this in the collector's book, when you look at the actual weapons in the equip screen, they are distinctly alpha and beta.

The Brionac sidequest forces her to be there and they didn't really check for this minor detail.

Someone needs to learn the difference between "it's" and "its." Come now, three times.

lolwut?

*Slightly spoilerish*

Momento not memento

Edit: This is correct, see posts below
*End slight spoiler*

*Slightly spoilerish*

After rescuing Estelle, the game forgets to take away Dein Nomos from you as Rita examines it, so you can still equip it. Not so one of a kind anymore.
*End slight spoiler*

Lucky Rita

No typo, just another weird Yuri face.

No typo. Thought it was funny.

No typo. For people who want an image to get them started on some Clint x Tison fanfics.

A nice pair of Honkers. I know, I'll be in my corner now.

Never thought I'd see the word emo in a game.

Yuri prefers the back door instead.

Sicily is misspelled, unless there's someone completely different called Scicily who you never meet.

Debatable, could be technique or techniques, I would say techniques as to not make it sound like there's only one. Saying technique makes me think of form and posture.

Edit: Thinking about it more, this was where you learn one technique, so maybe it was missing a word and was meant to say "... a manual of a technique..."

RIDER KICK!
These were sort of hard to get because the game likes to do the zoom and freeze a second after the final hit, so these pics aren't possible if the kick itself got the final blow.

*Slightly spoilerish*

Are they gonna change it from now on to Fierced instead of Fierce?
*End slight spoilers*

In addition to the typo, F you, yuri. I went through every route before I could even get to this scene.

A discrepancy between what was said and written. Raven says "enjoying" despite what's written.

Bonus pictures not from Vesperia:

Hijacked my roommate's PSP for a day and tried out Radiant Mythology. Despite being able to touch the enemy, you won't go into battle until you open the door.

You see. This is how Emil disappoints me. The first time I even think of playing the game again since I last played, he has to fail and have one luck point.

Wow, nice job chronicling the typos. Sure are a lot of them. They don't really bother me all that much because the script is so massive, and to be honest, I simply didn't notice a lot of them. The one that stuck out the most to me was Fierced Demon Fang. At least, I really hope that was a typo.

Momento not memento

Memento is correct.

Memento is correct.

Looking into it further, it seems momento is somewhat acceptable but less correct. I assumed it was incorrect because when you have the item, it says momento when you look at it in your inventory so I assumed that was the correct spelling. Or maybe I'm seeing things. In that case, the typo should be the one in the inventory.

Yeah, ToV's loaded with some pretty sad typos and grammatical mistakes, in side dialogues. I did take some pictures of them myself a while back but never posted them here, and a lot of them might be lost. I thank the gods though that they did have their priorities straight and that the majority of stuff that matters was extremely well done. I'd hope they'd fix most of the mistakes for the EU version, and maybe if the PS3 version makes it over. It WOULD also be nice if they could issue a patch for the US 360 version, too.

Unless the Brady Games guide messed this up and it's correct in-game, Estelle's Resurrection uses KO'ed, while her Regenerate uses KO'd.

Dunno which would be correct in that case.

My favorite is from the animated movie at the end of part one. Alexei is talking about the Adephagos and says "No one can escape it's doom!" in the subtitles.

Also, I believe it's Yuri's "Valiant Swordsman" title, but the description reads "A swordsman who's name will go down in history."
