Out of curiosity, what games in particular has Nintendo ignored?
Both NoA and NoE? Soma Bringer, Fatal Frame 4 and Takt of Magic.

Just NoA... Tingle RPG, Chibi Robo 3, Another Code R, Disaster Day of Crisis... And a few more I'm sure.

in my opinion, it's still kinda up in the air. i posted an earlier article stating that Namco USA will NOT be localizing the PS3 version of ToV, but other sources don't say anything about this topic. don't get your hopes up though...

Another Code R

Odd. I thought that was released in Europe >_>

Nintendo America do?

Denying all hopes of Soma Bringer coming in English. Though... with the translation patch availible that point is pretty much moot now. (Still makes me a little mad though)

I used to always buy my games, legit.
This forced me to get a flashcard and now I'm downloading a bunch.
Serves them right? I'd say so.

if that is true "empty", I don't understand what's going on with Bandai-Namco and Sony; 'cause since ps2 they don't localize most of the tales titles for the Sony console. maybe it's something from the past ( playstation 1 ) or maybe just lazyness, but it's getting f* frustating 'cause they seem not care if we want or not to play the game; I guess that's not a behaviour a company to show toward the public they wanna hit. I hope that I'm wrong and I wish they release some tales game exclusively for ps3. Angry

I've jus read this from Wikipedia  "As of January 27th, 2010 Namco Bandai Games said it has currently 'no plans' to release this port outside of Japan[13], however it should be noted that Namco Bandai had said the same about Eternal Sonata for the PS3[14] only to be released months later. In addition, anecdotal evidence has arisen that indicates a Western localization is imminent. Voice actor Troy Baker has stated the English cast has already begun recording additional dialogue required for the port" GOD HOW I HOPE THAT IT'S TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    haha

I'm surprised nobody has posted this

http://scrawlfx.com/2010/06/troy-baker-confirms-tales-of-vesperia-ps3-localization-in-video

I really find it odd to think that Troy would just lie about that stuff to please his fans. If he's already done the voice acting for the game I can't see why they haven't announced a release for it yet.

Wasn't it with Tempest where they apparently had all/most of the voice work done? If there were issues they can always cut their losses partway through.

I've never heard that about TotT. Honestly I don't recall anything about that game possibly coming over to the US.

I believe it was on a voice actress's resume, I can't for the life of me remember who it was though. I even emailed her about it and she said it was definitely Tales of the Tempest but she couldn't remember any details on it.

I think more than that, we can find hope in the fact that Yuri's VA said they've already recorded the voices for the PS3 version, as seen in a link posted earlier in this thread.

As a commenter said in the link you provided, Zook works for NIS america, not Namco Bandai. They most likely wouldn't localize it, I remember reading that they've tried to localize tales games before but namco bandai won't let them.

Still, there is hope.

They might be waiting to steamroll the West with Tales before releasing it too. Namdai is going to release some unnamed PS1 classics on PSN and if they released First Strike blu-ray with those it might create a lot of hype for the series. Then if they announced another new PS3 title later this year that would be ported overseas... they might have a chance to become really big finally over here in the "good" jRPG starved West.
