hmm! Wow.

Okay, well, if the above is indeed true, I don't see how in the world it couldn't come here.. And I doubt that's fabricated information.
What are your thoughts, guys?

Here's a reply from Joe J. Thomas, the english voice of Raven.

With this said, it leads me to believe that information posted above may not be true.

I dunno.. IMO, if Joe Thomas isn't allowed to divulge any info about a localization of ToV PS3, one would think that Troy Baker would be in the same boat...

Don't think it's posted here.

I can't figure out which company I hate more. Namco USA or Nintendo of America.

Aww, that's dissapointing. Oh well, time to move on to other games.

Better steer clear from the GFaqs forums for a while...

Isn't this what they've been saying all along whenver someone asked them about Vesperia PS3? I hope they change their minds because I really want to play Vesperia.

NBGA doesn't even know if any US publisher is interested in bringing over First Strike? Looks like Bandai Namco's structure of subsidiaries makes coordinated branding efforts fail at all the wrong points. They really need a single point of reference which coordinates everything worldwide, like The Pokemon Company does for everything Pokemon related... (Not that it matters now since it's already too late.)

Tbh, it seems to me that someone went and emailed Namco and they sent back one of their generic messages.
If that's the case then nothing has changed.

That article is really clumsy, anyway. They're talking about the anime but then somehow end up on the PS3 port, making it un clear whether the question of "US release" was meant for the anime or game.

Namco: The Vesperia anime has a DVD release date!
Person: Cool! Does the US have one?
Namco: We have no plans to localize the PS3 port.

...What?

lol, you're right. that article WAS very clumsy. i think it is talking both things though, the anime movie AND the PS3 port... great, right?

so, we all know how badly Namco USA sucks, but what did Nintendo America do?

Nothing (i.e. not releasing a lot of games and not allowing others to pick them up either).

Out of curiosity, what games in particular has Nintendo ignored?

From my head (thus very incomplete): Mother 3, Soma Bringer, Ash, Disaster, all the Tingle games, most Starfy games, Another Code R etc. And unlike BN, Nintendo doesn't have any financial issues.
