US-NTSC Tales of Rebirth?

I was checking a couple .isos floating around on the internet, and i wanted to see which were available for the tales series.  I was actually looking after i lost my friggin copy of tales of the abyss, and i found tales of rebirth.  Now i know this game is japan only, and i assuming this is a mislabel, unless I have been uninformed of a group doing a fan translation.  Anyways, many of these say US-NTSC Tales of Rebirth PS2.  Just curious.  And im not posting about emulation or downloading stuff if anyone tries to yell at me!  I merely want my initial question answered; "This has never been translated out of Japanese correct?"

I'm not aware of any fan translations or existing releases of ToR PS2 in English. Unless Namco actually created a beta English version prototype that never saw release and was somehow leaked to the Internet. But that seems rather unlikely.

Many ISO uploaders are such dumbasses they think the game is NTSC-U just because the title screen menu is in english.

I think i downloaded that torrent. The game is the NTSC-J version. But i didn't download it because i thought it was the US version. I got it because it had a lot of seeders.

why would you even call an english translation "ntsc-uc" anyways? ntsc-j and ntsc-uc are actually slightly different. I would've called it something like "NTSC-J english trans ("insert translator's name/organization here")".

Yea you guys are right, no english translation.  I got it and its in Japanese.  But its still one awesome game.
