I'm praying that Hibiki Aoyama is a permanent replacement for Shinji Tamura.

Just a head up, since recently Shinji Tamura is confirming on his website that he indeed is Hibiki Aoyama. No sure why he would change his name and then reveal it himself, or why he reveals it now, but there seem to be additional indications he's soon stopping composing Tales games. Posting it here due to Cless' above historic post, not sure anyone really cares elsewhere. haha

Painful to re-read that, but Vesperia still has one of my favorite OSTs in the series for some reason.

I wonder if it means anything for Sakuraba's involvement in the series, though. It seems Graces was entirely composed by him (at least according to my OST rip), but it had to be the least inspired thing I've ever heard from him.

Tamura was also involved in Graces (Aoyama is credited), e.g. the three harbor themes and the bonus dungeon theme are definitely his. Also I disagree, I actually liked the music direction in Graces, especially the use of Sakuraba's piano pieces in event scenes.
