It is indeed a fighting game. The gameplay looks similar to Smash Bros.

I was going to comment earlier on the speculation, even making a comment that the character select screen could be rearranged in the final version (hey, I noticed something in video footage for the localized Tatsunoko Vs Capcom where a certain character is on someone else's spot).  But then I see this:



Implying something and...

You know what?  That Abyss cameo?  That's nothing now.  This...even I can't get behind it.  This feels like the equivalent of wanting Phoenix Wright in Tatsunoko Vs Capcom.  Really, they expect me to see this (and I can't believe I still have that)?

Truthfully, I'd like to know who chooses the roster here.
