Yeah, pretty underwhelming. At least the code was used for something and not forgotten about, I guess.

The only thing I have to say is that at least they didn't forget about that code.  It'll finally stop bugging me.

Now, I can't help but say that the, "Collector's Editions are always never worth it" crowd just got more fuel for their fire seeing this.

I still give the CE props for its superior cover art and cool steelbook packaging. However, maybe I'm mistaken, but wasn't this Vol.2 Tales 10th Anniversary CD a prize on the Brigade shop? What a shameless way to get rid of leftover stock. Tongue

True, it was a Brigade prize.  I was trying for that but I sold out for something else.  I did remember reading a description saying that the shipment for that CD has a significant delay in shipment compared to other prizes.

Yeah, after seeing reactions here, I just had to make the comment there.  I mean, I did hear someone say elsewhere that the package and manual is just waste and just toss them away (and anything need to be looked up there, the tutorial are good enough for that*).  Thus, Collector's Editions are a waste.  Though that would not be the only time I hear about it.  I'll stop right here before I decide to continue my sarcastic self-depreciation of my collector side as a gamer.

I'll say this in regards to the Collector's Edition:  I like the steel case.  As for the artwork, I won't get into that.

(While I'm at it, maybe I need to cut down on my sarcasm)

*Though I feel tempted to quote Comic Book Guy's comment on the "In Game Tutorial" cliché in the Simpsons game.

Such crowd exists? as a collectors-edition'tard I can only say wow to that.

so... wow. (collectors edition's all the way)

Sure the game is the same no matter how you slice it, and you can probably get a more complete OST via the internet or something, but... a fan should go for the collectors edition (or both!).

I just noticed but... I would drag on and on about the benefits of the CE's so I'll stop here. I'm surprised that such anti-CE stance exists though.

dammit @ the prices.

Code?

Figures I wouldn't know, though.  I wish I had a 360. ;-;
