I could have sworn I've seen an image that fits that silhouette before, I just can't put my finger on it. I sort of want to say it's a 2D Luke because it sort of looks like his coattails, but the hair doesn't exactly fit.
It reminds me of the up-attack sprite frame for Cless in ToP PSP, come to think of it.

It's definitely Cless.

That silhouette was already on the japanese Abyss's cover, since Abyss JP came out exactly 10 years after the first edition of Phantasia.

Yes, thank you, that was it. I knew I saw it before.

I already love this games hi ougis, so much better executed than ToS2s!
Well I also like the comboes which seem a lot cleaner and faster than what I could do in Abyss (reminds me of what we could do on ToD2 somehow, with extensions and infinite possibilities)

the a.i looks a lot better too. i just wish that theyd finally do like a boss battle of epic proportions of previous bosses. Lets say ur team vs dhaos, mithos(or better yet botta cuz he owns) shizel, and <somebody insert random boss here>.

btw i remember reading an article a couple of weeks ago of how tales games are going back to their roots. Does this mean the games will finally go back to summon spiirits?

I don't think anyone has posted this yet. Here is the opening for vesperia in japanese.

It looks good. I like the music. I'm liking the flow from scene to scene that much based on the music.  All in all, pretty good but not my favourite tales opening.

So the Premium Edition is now being listed by various retailers. Just pre-ordered mine at Buy.com. ($69.94 w/ shipping using this 5% off coupon, in case anyone else here is a cheap bastard.Wink)

According to the Amazon listing, the Premium Edition seems to come with a 72-page manual/artbook in addition to the music CD and spiffy steelbook packaging.
