Seconding Cless's question...won't import until I know. >_>

Hi-ougi exhibition (probably spoilers, I didn't even watch yet at the time of this posting)
Edit: Yeah, end of game spoilers.
Remember that whole conversation everyone had about how non-Team Destiny hi-ougis have gotten too cinematic? This video should not surprise you. I didn't even really care before but now even I'm sick of how much more cinematic it's gotten.
It's too much flair and drawing too much attention to what in essence is something that just really really hurts. Plus it's not fun to have unblockable cinematic boss hi-ougis. That's what made no damage boss runs in the past so entertaining, seeing how they dodge (or just not take damage from) boss hi-ougis.

i actually like them better now. they're more dynamic. what was missing in ToA was the fact that it wasn't exactly a cutscene, i think.
though, if you can use them every battle like in ToA it'll suck terribly.

I'm kinda disappointed that it's not cell shaded personally. I never really liked that painted on shadow look. I also agree that the hi-ougis are to cinematic. I always liked tales games for the real-time battle system. Tales of the abyss introduced the concept of not stopping the action while casting spells. I felt that enhanced the fast paced action. I hope this gets some decent reviews or I might not get it.

English screens: (hopefully this doesn't stretch the screen too much)
More screens here, just posted the more interesting ones.

Personally, I think that the look of the in-game text is okay- could've been better, IMO, but at least it's not horrible.
And what's up with changing the font used to display the hit counter and battle numbers?

Who the hell is Lloyd? It doesn't sound like either of his previous voice actors, though it might be Beacock doing a better job judging by the grunts and stuff. Absolutely horrible that Scott didn't come back, gonna significantly hamper my enjoyment of the game, but I can't say I was expecting him back. Richter sounds awesome.

Hah Marta sounds like an older version of Anise.
Everyone sounds really good so far, but im more anxious to hear of the old cast of characters. They couldn't have kept
everyone
from TOS....

Blasphemy.
Listening to the video again, it's definitely Beacock. I was thinking someone like Brian Donovan or even Yuri Lowenthal would be a better Lloyd than him.

i (mostly) approve. the skill text and dialogue name indicators need to be in a bit bigger of a font, i think?

Since I'm just a dub hater I still hope they give the option of the original audio. Really it's not that bad. I like the voices better then vesperias actually. The only person I'm really not liking is Emils week personality. It sounds so fake.
