Well any remaining distant hopes riding on this game's possible release in US can be put to rest.

The US trademark for this game was finally killed on September 21st. Reason cited as abandonment, no statement of use filed.

and Thus why I think some american companies can go shoot themselves.  Might as well order the japanese one if you have an imported ps2 or magic disc O_o

Aww... Well I guess it's only natural to abandon it. Even if TOA does well, TOR appears outdated in comparison to those with shallow tastes ("OMG GRAFIX").

Sigh. At least if we ever have the time to pick it up as a project, we won't have the potential-US-release thing looming over our heads.

Heh, those godly tales game will never come here, like remake of TOD ^_^, even TOD PSX version came to US I doubt that they will bring the remake haha!!!

Well, the point of that picture was to debunk the so-called "no 2D" rule.

...but it was the only one I had on hand. I made that screenshot because that wasn't even 10 minutes into the game. But anyway, yeah. Disgaea 2's localization needed some more competent editors. I found a ton of small errors all around the game (I wish they'd hire me because errors like these claw out my eyeballs)
