Team Destiny confirmed. This'll probably be the best DS Tales game.
HYPE +++
This is the handheld RPG of the year. Period.
And I wont' even waste my time with the usual "this better be localized" rant. We all know the words "team" and "destiny" combined have te same meaning as "japan" and "exclusive". But I'm sure there'll be a fan translation sooner or later.

I still hate that handheld is basically synonymous with 3 character parties
I don't mind, as long as there aren't too many characters in the party. Never liked huge parties, too much of a headache to level everyone up.

I hope it's 2D Battle. If so, sprite ripping time.

It's nice to see a throwback to 2D. It certainly made up for my bad impression of the CGI character models. This may actually turn out better than the other two DS installments.

I think that's for the better that we don't have another one of those rants. I rather be realistic than act like Namco Bandai needs to constantly kiss my butt and come to my every need.

^Footage. The entire game engine looks like it was inspired by ToDR. Exploring is in 3D-ish environments.

ToDr was kind of like ToE on steroids, right? This is beginning to look like the DS Tales I've been waiting for.

Well,
Teichan got a makeover
. Not only that, has a temp site up while also mentioning DEEN doing the theme song for Tales of Hearts.
That will make another Tales singer/band coming back for another installment's theme song.

this game has the ugliest male lead name, ever.
also, if you look at the official site, he's wearing a yugioh duel disk. odd...
is this going to be Tales of Acid?

I only hope it isn't Tales of Hearts: Chain of Memories.
Also, the logo is awesome.

Wow, after watching that video I am really excited about this game. I skipped on importing Tales of Innocence because I wasn't that impressed with Tales of the Tempest. This one looks alot better!

i wouldn't be surprised if the localization team just got disgusted with the name and called him Jim Rocket or something.

I think you can reasonably change it to something like Sheng. But what do you do about that last name? Hell if I know.

Sheng Long! How about Sheng Long for a name?! Also, in order to get his ultimate Hi-ougi, you have to win every battle without getting hit. If you end up fighting him in a Tales cameo battle in a later installment, or heck even in this game, remember, "You must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance!"
Oh wait! This isn't Street Fighter!
Sorry, I couldn't help make that joke. I guess I just had to join in with making jokes since Kaji and Kogahazan were doing.
But seriously, I wouldn't known what to do about his last name. I can't find anything about the name that can be interpreted differently.
