This price drop makes me think Play-Asia knows something we don't... Like perhaps a North American release of this game?! This wouldn't be the first time Play-Asia as had a sale on an RPG, and then a week or so later it's announced for North America(an example would be Seiken Densetsu DS, they had a sale and then a week later, Square sent out a Press release, saying the game would be coming to North America).

If this is a hint(which I could be just reading to deep into this), then it pretty much confirms Namco America hates anime.

^ Let's hope you're right. Though, I think it's a bit of a stretch.

I thought their rationale was fairly obvious. The CG version is generally disliked and doesn't sell nearly as well as the anime version, so they've slashed the price in an effort to get rid of the copies they've got. I think this hypothesis is boosted by the fact that the CG version has been cut in price from $62.90 to $19.90 (a massive $43 price cut) while the more popular anime version is still priced at the original $62.90 (also note that the CG version is labelled as usually shipping within 48 hours, while the anime version is labelled as taking about 1 week to ship).

Err... No.

I can't count the number of times a Japan-exclusive game was thrown into that "garbage box". Even Tales of Destiny Re:DC was ! And not the asian version like it usually happens, but the japanese one.

What ends up in the "Deal of the Week" corner is what doesn't sell. Plain & simple.
