I hope that Dolphin emulator is developed well enough by the time this [potentially] hits the US. I'd kinda like to play it in HD.
Will you be picking this project if it dont make it here; though I highly doubt it since you have to finish what at hand ^_^

Hubert Ozwell (voiced by Mizushima Takahiro, aka Aames of Tales Of Hearts), a Magic Swordsman like Kratos, Asbel's one year younger brother, also a Major in the army.
Shelia Barns (voiced by Kawaragi Shiho, aka Sephina of Tales Of Commons), a Healer and indeed the butlet's granddaughter, LMAO

Yeah I just used Dolphin to finally play Symphonia. It looks nice in high res but it is pretty buggy in that it just doesn't load at times. And the battle speed was really variable despite it saying it was running full speed all the time. But boy did it look nice in high res.

From what I gather, not even the TEV pipeline is fully emulated. Mario Galaxy for one is missing lots of effects. And it's also worth noting that emulation is, unfortunately, mainly used for piracy.
I rather use real consoles, it's plug and play after all, I like to drop my DVD in and just play it without worries. plugins, speedhacks and whatnot... I like to keep in touch with the emulation scene, but I am unable to play them on a PC, I'll boot them, see how they look, play a little and get bored and going back to real consoles.
If Nintendo releases a Wii HD running the games in HD while assuring they're all running at 100% I'll eventually bite, otherwise... just a novelty, for me, anyway.
I'm more interested in speculating about the game though, won't you guys join me?
What do you guys think of the redhair girl character description? doesn't it give you some Maria from Hayate the butler vibe? plus, she appeared to have a broad vision capable of judging and criticizing judging from the last trailer last part, where she was talking.
I think she has potential, I'm kinda weary it won't materialize because it's a Tales game though, but the premise, if I'm right, could make her a great character.

Oh, nicely spotted.
And the unveiled guy reminds me of a mix between the persona 4 main character and akihiko from persona 3... if it was drawn by Inomata, that is.

Seriously. I knew he reminded me of some character from another game, but couldn't tell who it was. It was freaking Souji Seta. Don't know whether I should feel happy or disgusted about this.

Is it me or does Hubert have the weapon that Serge uses from Chrono Cross?
EDIT: Hubert's my favorite so far...

I wonder if they'll have a single line system ala Symphonia since it's likely Team Destiny guys working on this (to make it more like ToD PS2), and you switch between the enemies you want to attack?

We know that, I think... you can switch between enemies of course, and they move in a 3D grid, you you can't free-run on this one, instead having the lock on working like zelda (you can sidestep all around the enemy)

anasdflkjgh CC SYSTEM!
Instabuy.
I kinda preferred when Hubert's hair looked grey as opposed to blue, but I can't even care right now. We've got sidestepping, CC System, and what appears to be a fast battle system with great looking techs judging from the trailer. This could be the best battle system we've seen yet. It's already looking like one of the best. Just toss in ToDR caliber hi-ougis and we're good to go.

Looking pretty good, but I notice there aren't a lot of enemies in these screenshots. Hopefully it's because it's an early build or something.

I think they're still demo-ing it, notice the character HUD only makes an appearance in the last 3 shots, for instance, and this batch is also the first one with 3 characters on-screen at once (only in one pic though)
