Urrrk... Asbel's Kyle costume is a horrible mismatch...
And the custom PS3 theme has Asbel with a purple eye? WTF?! Are they just aiming for the people who've already played the Wii version or something?

Makes me wonder... and what the heck is wrong with this game's price!? Are they really expecting the people who already bought the Wii version to buy it again with that price tag?

*at the headquarters of NB*

Executive 1 "What big name titles are coming out this fall in Japan?"
Executive 2 "A new monster hunter is coming out"
Executive 1 "Have our newest Tales come out the day after it!"
Executive 2 "Alright and what about the price"
Executive 1 "Lets price it at $100 so we make a ton of profit off it!"
Executive 2 "What if it doesn't live up to sales expectations?"
Executive 1 "We'll just shift numbers from the upcoming sales of SFXTekken or TekkenXSF to the Tales sheets"
Executive 2 "What about an English release?"
Executive 1 "No way, we'll never make money in the US/PAL regions"

What big-name RPG is coming in 2011 that Namco can pair up their new game with?  I can't think of any off the top of my head, but then again I'm not in a good mood now, so...

The Kyle costum is ok, but rutee and judas costumes aren´t.
Vesperia already had these two. they could put new ones like loni or reala.

Well, the Japanese release of ToGF is gonna drop right after Monster Hunter 3 PSP and just in time to piss off Japanese 360 owners enough to make them consider grabbing Final Fantasy XIII 360 (which was just announced for a Japanese release mid-December) and hate on Namco some more.

Not sure what they'll buddy up Radiant Mythology 3 and Tales of 2012(?) with... Agito for RM3 and Versus XIII for the other, maybe?

Versus XIII coming out next year? We'll get a localized Tales game before we see Versus... I hope I'm wrong about Versus' release date since it's made by the KH team and I kinda want to play it. I still hope we get a localized Tales game, though

And apparently the guys behind the ToG fan patch are considering doing ToGf... I can't find anything on PSGroove. Does this require softmodding?

Don't get your hopes up about a fan-created patch for a PS3 game. That console is still in the realms of 'not getting cracked for long'. Sony has already patched the firmware loophole that allowed the first USB dongle to work by emulating the dev kit mode. Attacking that point of weakness seems like a good idea, but I highly doubt that the feature that let it work in the first place will exist in the current firmware and any newer release PS3 games.

It's out there, Sony is done, anyone can easily take their PS3 offline and never have to worry about firmware updates. Additionally now that the tech is out there tons of people will make new ways to crack the system.

The situation Sony is/was in and what the Wii and XBox360 are quite different. I'm gathering all my facts together so I can illustrate. Attempting to perform a PS3 game hack is still in the realms of incredible stupidity and a total waste of time since the actual means and the methods have not yet been established since it requires hardware before the firmware is loaded. Let us make it clear that is a very distinct difference between the state of the Wii and XBox360 who's security breaks are forward compatible.

With the XBox360, Microsoft don't even need to worry because they can just killswitch modified consoles and the Live accounts associated with them.

If you check the Tales of Graces team's twitter, they have already worked a little on ToV ps3 and have posted pictures to show that the concept is possible. And I have full confidence that the ps3 hacking community will find another work around now that they have gotten as far as they have.

You a member of the Sony Defense Force? The system has been cracked, if you crack your system and take it offline (which people who crack it will) and it'll have a pretty big community of hackers that'll grow.

There is cracked and there is "cracked". The present level of cracked is very weak at this point this doesn't mean they won't find something better by using that in but it's not even close the custom firmware case of the PSP. At this point it is a minor blip in the road that may or may not have future implications.
