Tales of Eternia - Aifread's Cavern

Hello

It should be on disc 2 on Celestia.
I finished the first Seyfert trial and now I'm heading to Aifread's Cavern.
The problem is simple, I can't get in. I moved to the location (GPS 204, 98) and there was this little explosion which laid open the entrance of the cave.

Now how can I get in? There is no way to get in from land or sea. The normal procedure would be to enter the ship and call the travel menu.I tried to get in this cave for about 3 hours now without success.

I couldn't find any other posts for this topic, so either I'm just to stupid for the game or my disc2 is somehow bad.

I hope someone can help me out soon.

did you try going underwater?

Underwater? I thought this is a ship and not a submarine. If you tell me how to do this I will try it.

I think you talking about this Aifish thing, but at this point I can't go underwater because I will get the Aifish at the end of this cave.

I could also try to upload (or send it by email, they are about 1.6mb) a Savegame so that someone could try to get in this cave and sent the savegame back to me.
I am using epsxe v1.60 ... maybe someone has a savegame where he is in this place.

I used an other savegame from gamefaqs.com but even with this save I couldn't enter the cavern ... It must be a bad image of the second disk.

If there is someone out there who has the game, I will send him the savegame and maybe it will work with an other disk image (just enter the cave, nothing more ... it will take just some seconds).

As I thought it was emulator fault when you go to the entrance pres the x and play goes on

hm ... so you were able to enter the cave?
I tried it with the savegames a moment ago. It didn't work at all.
Maybe it isn't the emulator version.
Is the OS of the computer important? I use Windows Server 2003. I will try it on one of my XP Computers ... or maybe the image is really a bad one. 

Could you just enter the cave on your system and make a save? I don't plan to reenter this place so it will do.

I tested it on Win XP and it still don't work. I'm going to load a new image somewhere because this is the only thing I can imagine that cause this bug ... but until then it would the best if you could just enter the cave and make a save. I hope this will solve the problem for now.
