So the ToP PSP port will use the ToE PSP engine, the ToP OVA voice staff + a couple OVA scenes, all with at least SFC grade music? Meanwhile Tales Studio's 2D team went on with a ToD remake for PS2 lacking Abyss' load time? Would sound nice. Grin

Now that we have the full scan, now comes the comments.

Dude, the Tales of Destiny remake is looking sweet!  I've never been this excited over a remake since...maybe...Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.  Especially since it's a Tales game that really needed it.

And the Tales of the World game...looks like we can expect another crossovers.

Finally, Tales of Phantasia PSP.  Well, those battle sprites looks sightly different.  More like a "in-between" of Tales of Phantasia PS1 battle sprites and the Narikiri Dungeon battle sprites.  However, I'd like to see if there's anything different before I go crazy over it.

Well, I think I can say that the Tales of Destiny remake is more the big deal for me.

I having the same problem as well. It's just too good to be true.

Cless and Arche seem to be the only ones using the sprites from TOE. Maybe they're gonna make new sprites for the rest of the characters.

Hmm... if the OVA footage was to be used in the game, the OVAs make a bit more sense now... I personally don't like the Narikiri Dungeon look for the Phantasia cast... The game itself doesn't look like it adds anything of great importance though... I'll try to look into it if it is shown there is more to it...

Tales of the World: Rediasoto mainrojii... Radiust Mynelogy...? It's definitely not Narikiri Dungeon 4, but it's still crossover... 3D cross-over, shweet... but I think I'll sit this one out if I can't afford a PSP...

Tales of Destiny remake looks real nice and I'll definitely be getting it... Destiny felt to bleh the first time, but I took a break from it and had fun when I came back... The towns (namely the camera angles) look very much like Rebirth's graphical style. The battle system's graphical style looks very much like Destiny 2 in that it zooms in on the characters more than the other games and looks like Rebirth in the battle effects.

Pretty sure that's Radient Mythology. Apparently whoever was in charge of that title didn't know how to pronounce mythology though.

It's not like the others could. :D

Cyllya predicts:
--Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World will reveal that Ratatosk was involved in ToS's last required scene in Heimdall.
--Tales of Vesperia's plot will involve space aliens in some way

Since ToP looks like a port of the PSX version, I hope it's like ToE and has the same file structure as the PSX version. I'd like to put those sprites into ToP PSX with a few clicks...

EDIT: Parent post updated with screens from Famitsu.

There I go again messing up kata... my fault for getting n and so mixed up.

Mistranslating mythology into kata sort of reminds me of how they converted Dirge of Cerberus...

I've been taught to pronounce it ser-ber-us and the kata says ker-be-ros

Aaarg! This makes me want all of them even more, now!

I never concieved that I could ever get this happy over a videogame announcement again. So GOOD.

Oh, and the ToD1-PS2 screenshots remind me alot of Namco X Capcom for some reason, probably the way the sprites look smoother rather than pixellated.
