Haha, Bernardo the Sea Dragon! I love that name. I wonder is that actually his actual name in the Japanese version?

Aw, Stahn doesn't draw it out as long as Veigue and Senel though : (
Doesn't drag it as long as KUREAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! or SHAARIIIIIIIIIII!!!

Oh, I love how Senel screams STELLAAAAAAA in the dub... I would think it has more significance to an English speaking audience who has read A Streetcar Named Desire...

Actually similarities between Senel and Stella to Stanley and Stella can be found... Senel sort of cheated on Stella with Shirley... but Senel he never raped Shirley... and ToL Stella didn't go to some mental hospital at the end...

For Legendia, besides the Streetcar reference that you mentioned, the other thing that I first thought when I saw that clip in Japanese was of Gundam Seed Destiny.  The seiyuu who played Senel was the same one who voiced Shinn in GSD.  There also happened to be a person named 'Stellar' in GSD.  He sounds the exact same when he yells their names in Japanese.  There used to be a video on YouTube that had both clips in it, but I can't seem to find it.

Heh, when i watched this the first time it made me laugh. The main character screaming out a name seems to also be a fad in Tales games, now it's just getting more popular. =P

Wel... screaming out the name of another person is better than being racist.

Oh yeah... the guy who voices Veigue also does Link's voice. Same guy does Nightmare in Soul Calibur, too. So if Link had a voice, it would sound like one of them. Just listen to the screaming, you'll see they are one and the same. That KUREAAAAAAA should make it obvious that it's Link's unique brand of screaming : )

Edit, response to below: Yeah, I know. Couldn't remember any more off the top of my head.

Hiyama has had much more prolific roles than the likes of Link and Veigue, but that's an aside.

But Hiyama doesn't do Link anymore, do he?
At least, I don't think Link sounded like him in the last videos of TP (though he did up until E3 2k5 and the wolf transformation, definitively him)
[imdb lists him as doing Link in TP, but imdb is crap]

Anyway, yeah, Hiyama did a lot of other roles. Wilheim in Xenosaga, Shiro in Gundam 08th Team, Balmung in .hack.... Man, his biography is ENORMOUS.

Yeah, TP Link definitely doesn't sound like the old voice... I think it's unlikely, but perhaps it's still Hiyama, but he's voicing Link much much deeper... Still, the new voice will take some getting used to...

Oh, some non-imdb source of Hiyama's roles if anyone cares. It's still information added by the public, but I think it's a bit more accurate because anime fans tend to be nitpickers.

Hey, how easy is it to doctor audio tracks?  It would be HIGHLY amusing to somehow change "KUREAAAAA" into "SARIAAAAA" xD  OR "ZERUDAAAAA" >_>;;  But Saria would probably be easier ... ?

I LOL'ed when I heard the STELLA scream in the japanese ToL. First thing I did when I giot the US version is rip the videos to see if they changed that name. No.

And as for it sounding like "Stellar," In Space Quest 6, Roger yelled out "STELLAR!" in A Streetcar Named Desire fashion.
