So you are considering  hacking the game, Geminis? Wow that would be great, BTW I havent played SYmphonia GC, but the "speed" didnt decrease, but what decreased is the frames that can be seen per second (FPS, duh stupid kevassa ) and though I can say that if the FPS was as high as Abyss´s, I can very easily say that PS2 version didnt ruin the motion of battle.

And what was that about this game was an alternate Eternia system?

Well, that would certainly be nice since it isn't too hard. As for all the negative comments about the port, I really wouldn't mind as long as I actually get to play the game. I cannot buy a Gamecube for various reasons (For one, my parents won't let me buy another console. and I can't use ebay anyways) so this is the only chance for me until I graduate university and get a job (5 years later >_>). I seriously wanted to play since I'm more into story than gameplay so loading time and fps is not that much of a big deal for me.

ugh, I feel time would be so much better invested elsewhere. like other tales games ports that are actually superior and not inferior (ToP PSP, ToD:DC PS2...); but if you're decided to do it I can only wish you good luck.

Anyway, Gemini, if you do it... Please consider changing that horrible PS2 Japanese opening to the GC one; the alternative music is crap. I don't know if it's easy though; but I do recall undubbers putting optional remixed soundtracks for persona 3 and the patch or so to undo it. On a Tales PS2 it would be great to have 2 options while patching, or available as patchs, maintain the original ps2 one, put the jap gc one, or... put the us gc one.

Also, to a lesser extent, but if you're gonna mess with the GC version, if there was a way to undub (and change the opening back to japanese)... sure it would reach a lower demographic, but would be much apreciated. And who knows, now with Wii and chips, a lot of people that on gc couldn't run erm... backups... could have access to it.

First GC/Wii undub for sure.

And secondly, I amg lad to announce that I am possibly playing symphonia in english, cause I am getting a wii, wiis are much better than GC in almost all the aspects, and it is only a bit expensive, plus I can get cheaper games cause it has chip, so the PAL games wil be able to be played ^_^!
