Rumor: PS3 gets its own Tales?

Well, that's the only thing said about it.  A supposed announcement for a PS3 Tales.  I mean, for all we know, it could be a Tales of Vesperia port, but the rumor makes it seem it's an original installment (which would mean I would have something other than Metal Gear Solid 4 to justify getting a PS3).

What do you make of this rumor?

I only hope it's not a Team Destiny game. Or else, I will end up buying a PS3 instead of a 360 or a Wii just for two or three games >_>

The producer all but promised there'd be a PS3 Tales someday, back in that first interview after ToV was announced (for real) to be for 360. That too made it sound like it was another game, rather than a TOV port.

Port or not, it seems weird for them to announce a PS2 Tales at this point.

I've heard elsewhere that this is just pure speculation by the magazine. The date below it is probably going to reveal the next DS game.

Here's a wild random thought:

Wouldn't it be awesome with a Tales game that could be played 4 player like Crystal Chronicles and Four Swords?

(Wii+NDS or PS3+PSP... Make it happen! Make my battles epic and let's explore the world! Team Destiny, you should and could do it... I guess)


Also, to be honest, at the moment, it would be both odd and unusual for there to be a full blown PS3 game too that isn't just a PS3 port/version of Vesperia.  One thing is doing multi-platform to cater to all fans, but another thing is straight out scattering your fans all over the globe with unique titles on all platforms. (especially when it comes to home console titles, as next-gen titles aren't exactly cheap'n easy to develop... You kinda need to sell enough of them too in order to make up for their long and demanding development cycle.)
