Great Caesar's Ghost! The only thing that could make this better is if there was a (yeah) cheeseburger (greasy) inside the patch. <3 Rebirth so much. Seriously, it's one of those things where I can't even fully-explain WHY I like it so much, beyond "it feels so much like a Tales game".

Agreed; Rebirth was fantastic.

They need translators though. :<

Great news, been hoping this game would get picked up by someone, thank god cless didn't discourage any translators by announcing his intention to translate Rebirth like he did with ToD/ToD2. its always great to see someone work on UNTRANSLATED tales games.. this, phantasia v2.0*f project (*fetish) is pretty much pointless, and defiantly not worth the time it has/still is taking to finish, Its 10x over obsolete already, PSX version already has a good translation fully playable & comprehendable. If anything this ToP translation should go on the back burner asap & focus on ToD:DC a game that has not been remade 10x and by playing it would not feel like your playing an outdated version.

I have no interest in Phantasia any more, been that way for years. finished the DeJap SNES translation, GBA version... also throughhim413's PSX version, watched the anime dabbled with the newer jpn psp ports. so over it.

end rant.

So why are you even here and on these forums? Besides being incredibly rude.

I love Cless and PP but it's not like anything he said is untrue; If he would have announced a project for Rebirth we wouldn't have seen it picked up by anyone else and i'm sure we wouldn't see it finished for a looooooong time.

Again no hate PP.

I know you're not directing it at me, but it's not altogether-improbable to believe:
1) Someone is here because of interest in non-Phantasia translations.
2) There are people here who don't like Phantasia, or don't like it enough to want to play the one Cless is doing.

I'm both, and I fall into the former category of 2. I don't like Phantasia at all. I might like the NDX version, but I'm broke and haven't bought it, and I have nothing against using the Phantasia crew in Radiant Mythology. I don't care about the translation, but Cless can work on it all he wants, because there ARE people who are supporting him to the finish line. Hell, I'd buy him a drink, just for having this forum.

There are Tales fans who don't like Phantasia, but they're rare, and it feels like it's kind of a sacred cow in the fanbase, like how Chrono Trigger is with Square fans.
