I remember thinking platforming in the battles would be nice, but only with single-line battle systems. BOOOOO for 3D platforming. More action in dungeons would be nice too.

Some of us were also talking about the use of weather in combat.

But rebuilding the concept behind Tales.... I can't help but remain pessimistic about that news. Especially considering what he was just saying about latest technology, suggesting that's the part that's going to change.

Cyllya predicts:
--Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World will reveal that Ratatosk was involved in ToS's last required scene in Heimdall.
--Tales of Vesperia's plot will involve space aliens in some way

i would be for using the wiimote+nunchuck, and possibly for some platforming elements. also, they need to slow the hell down. of course sales are down; they release like five games a year. how do they expect people to have the money, and especially time, to play through all these games?

kinda odd how the FF series was established like, seven years eariler, but the tales series now has about as many, or more, games.

Its also funny since FF was supposed to be Square's last game. Now look at the times now.

I didn't notice this when I first posted the news.. but specifically pointing out that Tales isn't about the latest technology and graphics could be a slight nod to a possible Wii release. I wouldn't see the point of saying that and still developing for the PS3.
