Did ToD2 get the sprites for Chal and Igtenos (human) mixed up? o_O;

I forget what this is from or who scanned it, but it has their pictures reversed compared to the game. I thought the game was right and the book was wrong, but the arts of them that were recently put on the ToD website (here and here) make it look like the book was right after all. o_o

But maybe their sprites are just inconsistant with their arts and it's a coincidence that their arts look like each other's sprites.... (Igtenos art does look pretty much spot on with the blond sprite though.)

Cyllya predicts:
--Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World will reveal that Ratatosk was involved in ToS's last required scene in Heimdall.
--Tales of Vesperia's plot will involve space aliens in some way

They're definitively mixed up :x

But besides that, someone noticed several days ago, in an older scan, that they swapped hair color for them.
Chaltier was supposed to be blonde, and Igtenos to have grey hair, no?

Well... Looking at the outfits on the scan (specifically, their collars) while ignoring the hair colour, it looks like the scan really is wrong. I guess the hair sprites were too confusing or somebody messed up while putting that page together. Whoops.

Let's just assume that when Harold extracted the data for Swordian Creation, everyone besides Dymlos and Atwright were wearing different clothes and Chaltier decided to dye his hair after seeing how cool Walter was.

Wow, that's annoying. They've reimagined the other swordians besides Atwight/Dymlos.
Don't even try comparing the old sprites with the new art (Igtenos had a cape, and Clemente looks younger).

That scan has always been wrong; Chal and Igtenos are swapped. The book is ToD2 Special Fanbook. The game and ToD Character Collection prove it.
