I have been a guest on this site from a very long time and see that you are still working on Tales of Phantasia, I'm very respectful of all the work made by Phantasian production, so keep going and at your own rhythm, don't release something you're not satisfied with, after all, this is your work, so you're the only ones to decide what you want to do.

As the title says, I have some questions about the future projects, which are Tales of destiny 2 and tales of destiny dc. You say that you will do a menu patch before a full patch. When you say a menu patch, do you mean that absolutely all the contents of the menus will be translated? Such as the name of all the artes, all the titles, all statistics, all name of objects, and all things that are inside the menu? (I don't know if one of them has a synopsis in the menu like Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the new world but if it is the case, it should be harder to do a patch...) Anyway, with a menu patch, I suppose it will be much easier to play the games than with a menu in japanese... So I'm happy that you decide to do like this! And for Tales of destiny Dc, do you plan to translate absolutely all sides available? Lion side, Stahn side and even Lilith side (I recall reading that there was a Lilith side somewhere...)


The final question that I have is for Tales of Rebirth for Ps2, I know it has probably been asked quite some times, but I prefer ask here just in case, do you plan to translate it in the future? (Not now, I know, as you already have the two Tales of destiny to translate) And the most important, have you got the tools for making a translation for Tales of Rebirth on Ps2?

I can answer in regard to Tales of Destiny DC. The initial plan is for a menu patch, followed by complete translations for both Stahn's Side and Leon's Side. Also, Lilith's Side isn't a full mode, it's just a subevent. It will be translated as well, obviously.

Rebirth's currently not on the table, but I guess nothing is impossible. The current toolset should be very much compatible with it, if I'm not mistaken. I've seen both people show WIP stuff of their own Rebirth translations and hear lots of talented people are showing interest in it too (both from a technical and translation angle).

Currently, as far as I know, none of the people who're actively working together ("cross-team/-project") to achieve shared standards and common terminology between titles and projects are involved in any Rebirth translations at this moment.
