I'm looking at ToDR DC right now... for uh... research. And this this thread is for certain items of interest...

So, I guess we'll start with these:

Mini FAQ:

Q: ZOMG how did you get these!?

A: Custom utilities that aren't public.

If anything else interesting comes up, I'll post it here.

even for an anime style, chelsea's eyes are WAY too big. i'm scared that the sheer mass of them will cause them to attract, merge together into a black hole, and suck the entire planet in for a spectacular BAD END.

Random CRAP

Zomg chloe's hat!

Yes, a screenshot is stored as an image in the game. For some reason. There's also another one.

RAWRRRRRRRRRRR Thank god there's an E in this image

So after years and years of crappy icons, they give us these 256x256 pixel monsters.

Would you like fries with that?

I bought a Director's Cut guidebook.  In it, it has two sections written in English.  Lion's Side and... Stun's Side.  Now you too can enjoy all the secrets of Stun's never before told story. Cheesy

Neat pictures.  I like the Destiny profiles and despite my initial distaste for the character designs in general, I've found them really growing on me.

I found a second set of portraits. Much better ones, IMO.

I still love Lilith. It seems like she's older in the remake than the original?

Neat pictures.  I like the Destiny profiles and despite my initial distaste for the character designs in general, I've found them really growing on me.

Destiny by far has my favorite Inomata designs in the series, though they took time to appreciate after being used to Fujishima's ToP ones. Rebirth has the only other set that comes close.

Anyway, there's all kinds of nice images in this game, but it's kind of a pain that I don't have a TIM2 -> BMP batch converter. D:

Blugh. The Mary pictures remind me of my friend calling Mary an Amazonian warrior. Death by snoo-snoo!

Speaking of ToD vs. ToR character designs, there was an event in ToDr that absolutely had me rolling.  The one where you go searching for Woodrow's "impostor", who from the comment, is clearly meant to be Veigue.  That sort of self-depreciating humor is the best.

These are ridiculously cute.

I knew I wasn't the only one who noticed the similarity. Wasn't there another game that also added Barbatos into the fray?

now we need those dolls shopped with the traditional Tales of Destiny Remake 2ch facial expressions.

... now that i think about it, can the guy who made that website see into the future? or did namco break down and actually do it upon seeing the awesomeness of that site/after having the fans clamor for one?
