1.)
Community manager reaches out to Tales fans on Facebook, asking what titles they would most like to see localized.
2.)
Soon-to-be-Namco-President Kenji Hisatsune likes some interesting stuff.

I don't use the book of faces anymore, so I can't see what he likes. Is it America? Europe, maybe? Because without proof that they suddenly like the rest of the world, I'm going to continue assuming that they hate us and our money.

Also, the community manager gave a what may be a possible hint...
"Today was a good day! I'm excited for the FUTURE!#!2 Time to relax (and play some games) ill be on PSN tonight!"
Hopefully that conveniently capitilized "FUTURE" means

Believe it when I see it. I have basically given up on seeing anything in this series officially localized ever again.
Even if it happens, I sure hope they manage to put together an internal localization team as competent as the one they had before all the layoffs. And that team stays true to the legacy started with Symphonia. I'd be really annoyed if naming conventions got rebooted at this point. If they could extract Peter Garza back from Tecmo, all would be good...

I hope this initiative causes ToA for the 3DS to be brought over.

Seriously, who is even left of the old guys? I highly doubt they'd reboot... but then again, it is a possibility because that seems to be the industry buzzword these days. Garza was amazing, it'll feel weird not having him on board. They should at least get someone as good as him or Nao Hgo or whoever did ToS. If they managed to bring him back into the fold it would be amazing. I love how that guy fought for the fans. If he was there, but localizing something like Naruto or whatever, he'd still be fighting for a localization. I'm sure of that. I tried to thank him for that via Twitter on the behalf of all the fans for his hard work, but he hasn't responded. Makes me wonder if he really was laid off and ripped away from localizing Tales.
Last I checked, he did work on a game called "Quantum Theory," which apparently has a Metacritic of 37/

Fans (myself included) have been getting in touch with Tales producer Makoto Yoshizumi via Twitter.
He had this to say...

Thank you for a lot of requests about Tales! However, We have some problems that should be settled. I do my best.
