Which version do you prefer?

Like Cless of this board, I prefer the PlayStation version.  It is currently the definitive version of the game.  Sadly, it was marketed exclusively in Japan, while my least favorite version of the game (the GBA version, that is) was marketed in North America.  Also sadly, like other remade games, many fans swear by the original version.  I hope the PSP version is released in North America.

Thyats treu but the only way you could you could possibly find this place is if you were interested in a translation for the PSX version and tried looking for one. Although you may have looked for subs of the OST bt still...

Since my favorite thing about TOP is its plot, the PSX version sort of has to be my favorite. But when I just want to play a fun game regardless of plot, I play the SFC version.

I'm only waiting for the project to be finished because I want ToP to have a good translation in existance, not because I prefer the PSX version. I doubt I'll even play it with the translation once it's finished.

I think I found this board via Cless's Tales of Tri-Ace site actually, and I originally hung around the board on that site to talk about ND1....

PSP  (yes, I own it, though  I've only just been transported to the past) version at the moment, currently incapable of playing the PS1 version, but that should change in a few weeks
