From what I've played of the PSX version I'm very excited, and I've finished both the SNES and GBA versions multiple times. All I can say is, I don't know if these guys WILL ever finish the PSX translation in my lifetime, but if they do, I'm quitting school, job, and disconnecting myself from my family to play it. ToP is my favorite game from the "Tales of" series and probably always will be, even doubly so if/when the translation is released.

[EDIT]: I know this isn't the proper thread for this, but how exactly are they/you planning on translating the spoken episodes outside towns on the world map? Subtitles? Or is it being ignored?

They're going to try and subtitle it, but it's low priority for now.

I couldn't stand the GBA version. I only got it because I can't find a way to get the SFC version to work on snesDS.

With a PSP you can always dump an ISO image of the game and play it on there via Popstation.

Thing is you need 3.02 OE-B to run it. And most new firmwares won't even allow you to update to that since its a "fake" firmware.
