The traveler in Totus says:
"You can check your direction with the compass in the upper-right corner"
I was thinking it would be "upper-left" corner, right? Cheesy

---
BTW, I thought the Technical Ring in Cless' Inventory would be a Demo Bonus. Will this ring still appear so early in final patch? (I love Manual Mode)

Thanks for your efforts. Wink

Oh my! You're absolutely right.

That last one should indeed say "upper-left" (as that is most certainly the location of the compass on the world map screen)

Nice catch  Grin

Of course, no text in the demo is final (but close!), but if I'm to poke at anything and say "this is the least close to what I'd expect from a final release!", then it's certainly the Tutorial Text (text usually displayed in GREEN/Information boxes). Hilariously enough, some of its wonky-ness stems from the original Japanese version. Hopefully this isn't one of them haha

And, oh, also, you're absolutely right about the other thing too! The Technical Ring is indeed not an item you normally have at this point in the game. The hack that adds it this early in the game is very old and has been lurking around for a while internally, I believe. You'll probably still see the ring (in one form or another) already in place at the very start of the game upon the full release too. Possibly along with other little things (some of which you may have spotted already in the demo, if you've been thorough!) These things are there to enhance the game experience, add to the "localization aspect" of things*, some potential legacy bug fixes, aaaand... some that most of all serves to bring the game up to snuff with more recent releases.

*No! I don't think you'll get different music for OP/ED! (Although, I have at several points said to Cless it'd be an awesome thing that he should do if we had the right talent available)

Huh, interesting. That's a pretty basic error. Oh well, it's fixed now.

Hi,

I know the script is constantly subject to change with so much work been put into this project and this is just a line from the demo patch, but there is only one word I would change...

The term 'pried' been the past tense of 'pry,' meaning to force into something to extract an object, or to use a means of leverage to get at an object inside something (or tightly between/ in the grip of something else), so one may have pried something from soneone's grip, or from inside something but it wouldn't usually be said of an object hanging off of or around something else, so if it's hanging around his neck it may be better to phrase it as 'tore/ripped/stole/took it from my neck' - maybe I'm been a little anal though :p

I must say I admire your work on this project, I played through the original famicom game in Japanese many years ago and it has since remained my favourite RPG, it's amazing that there are people so passionate for this game (and series) with the technical proficiency and the will to put in so much hard work to pull off a project of this size, it's truely awesome.

Cheers Smiley
