I like it as it is right now.
Maybe some images using those ideas could make them clearer, one thing is thinking something will look good and another one is seeing it. It may look completely different or exactly as imagined.

I think it's fine(no abreviations besides HP/TP). Nice usage of space on the screen as well! Sweet!

I made a tiny mod.



I added a vertical pixel between the item type and equipment name. Tall letters in the equipment name being directly below the lower case Y and Ps in the equip type was driving me nuts. (see the mystic symbol in the Arche screen to see what I mean)

I knew there was still something else but wasn't sure what it was.
It may be a tiny mod, but is a change from looking good to looking perfect (If there's anything perfect). It even uses the space better that way.
