Origin(al) Source

It looks like 源 is written as 現 in the table or something.
I'm guessing they're copied right next to each other?


I thought ToP PS1 changed the term 根源 to 根現 (when Brambard explains what Origin means). I was looking up the Aska scene today and noticed 主エネルギー現は太陽光内に含まれる紫外線 (Its main energy source is UV included in sunlight), and エネルギー現 couldn't be right :p

Also found some parts using 奥義 and others 奥犠. Only the first is right, afaik.

We found duplicate kanji in the table the other day and corrected the ones that were supposed to be something else, and redumped the script. Human misinterpretation is to blame. 3 of them are apparently the same kanji just stylized differently.

These were entered as dupes, but corrected:



The first pair is the one you're talking about.

This could be a case of a kanji having a stylized dupe that was interpreted as another. I'll look into it.

EDIT: FWIW there may be other mistakes in the table, but beyond dupes, it's very difficult to find them.

Well, I did a search for those two characters in the table and then looked in the game. And... they check out.



Developer error? I really doubt it's a dumper error...

cool beans. I thought it was only wrong in the announce text at first, but then it showed up in dialogue.
Do you need someone to look over the kanji or something?

Well.. I can only imagine that proofing the table would be extremely tedious and was hoping that someone translating or looking at the script would be able to spot any errors.
