People are all ready coming out with translated patches for PS2 games so...its not like it would take a decade as long as an entire team remained dedicated and stuck to it. It also depends on how nitpicky everyone is and how long they spend on certain aspects.
It depends on how you define dedication, I think all the translators, hackers, coders, etc on PP are very dedicated to finishing all their patches eventually, but since it's usually "quality over quantity" (ToP's ongoing proofreading is perfect example

, even Carnivol says, "quality is of course of utmost importance") on the forum, I really doubt that it'll happen anytime soon (though, I hope..). Not that I'm complaining or anything, that's just how it is.
There's also not too many PS2 assembly programs out there, compared to the older gen consoles like PSX, SNES, etc. Software aside, there's really not too many translation patches on PS2 games overall (except undub patches, big diff between the 2) if you've looked around lately

Anyway, hope this changes in the future.
My thought exactly

, I don't put down projects for games I like, but I hope they'll stick to ToP this time and finish it
soonWhether it's ToD2 or ToD DC (after ToP) I'd be very happy to see either of those being worked on (wouldn't it be nice for all of us if those "hiatus" threads got deleted?

), since there's barely
any translation patches for PS2 games overall, as I said before
