I couldn't agree with what you felt void was, it will always be non-elemental to me.

It can't really be non-elemental though, by virtue of it being an element. Besides, if it actually were non-elemental, that'd make Dhaos' final form immune to all elemental and non-elemental attacks, which wouldn't make for a very fair final battle.

I see physical attacks as being different from non-elemental magic.  And "none" can be an element, if I'm not mistaken.  But the orbs are chosen, and this conversation, if it needs to continue, should probably do so somewhere else.

Non-elemental magic is a rather common thing in RPGs, anyway. I've already decided not to translate it literally as "void" in-game. It just makes less sense that way...

Wait, what?  Are you saying that it's going to be called non-elemental in the script/any place where it might say "void"? (does it actually say void anywhere, I wonder....)

if it makes any difference, the official GBA version calls it just that. the description of the earring:

A sign of a Healer and a memento
of your mother. Nullifies non-
elemental magic.
