Apparently a translation group started 6 days ago translating Tales of Phantasia for PSX, looks like they got some of the script in, the font looks to small, and some people might not be able to read it like the FF6 retranslation. though on further inspection, they did get the names looking right in battle.

guess i shouldn't complain to much.

Not trying to sound harsh, just a couple of things:

1.- thoughhim is a regular in this forum
2.- He has been translating the script for some time now (If I recall correctly. How much time has it been?)

The "competition" issue was already discussed (and dismissed by both project leaders) on RHDN.Net and here.

Anyway, I'm looking forward both of the projects (as most romhacking enthusiasts), but I'd probably stick to PP's Cheesy

Yeah, most definitely. I would wait for PP's translation over any other even if there was another already finished and released.
