throughhim approached me and offered to translate after I posted some of the ripped images. I couldn't well refuse him. If he hadn't said anything, I wouldn't have done much more than continue to rip images from the game.

OMG What a nice happy new year present; I kinda knew it was coming because you been fooling around with the PSX TOD and TOR would make sense because it come after TOD2 but it better to do TOD because is prequel to TOD2. I've been meaning to get the Director's Cut anyway and this is more than enough to do so.  Besides, it's not like my saves from the original version of the remake will be obsolete anyway.

It's answered in the front page announcement. Unfortunately, it seems you'll have to get yourself a copy of the DC version:

It is important to remember that this patch is being created for the Director's Cut re-release only. There's really no point in doing the original since this version already contains everything in it. So, to make things clear, our patch will not work on the original version of the game. It's too much extra work to be worth it.

Out of curiousity though, are the old version and the Directors Cut games that much different from each other in which the translation for the Stahn side wouldn't work from the DC to the original? I'm not sure exactly what was added through that disc.

Yeah. That's the only place where it's gonna be used, though. Those menu titles are stored in graphics, so it's just modified images. It's about the only font I liked for this.
