hey now, that's unnecessarily mean. if he's a native spanish/italian/portuguese speaker, you can't blame him for less than perfect english... and having stuff in english would make it way, way more navigable than having it in japanese.

Not to mention there are many people who can read english just fine even though they have a hard time writing in it. I used to be like that until a few years ago; you'd laugh your ass out reading the stuff I wrote in english back then, but I could fully understand the games I played. You don't necessarily learn to read and write at the same time
