I'm not surprised you guys did this, since you and throughhim juggling those other projects was enough as it is.

Best things come to those who wait, I always say. Smiley

Nine years.. wow. I remember when I first stumbled upon your little venture, Cless, and I was a wee little 13 year old kid.

omg! I was nine when this project started then! Mind blown.

I agree completely with the hiatus. The ToP translation is imminent to be released, tough i got myself disappointed with that notice, it's necessary, or the ToP patch won't see the daylight so soon.

Good call on the hiatus. These projects looked like you were biting way more than you can chew.

I really need the time to polish ToP as best as I can humanly muster. Nine years of history really calls for it, no matter how small the audience is for it may be these days.

Bah, you're exactly right--who cares about audience-size..this is y'all's pet project, your main concern. It's always been the main goal of the site--something y'all wanted to do and complete. That has a value associated with it.

And fans like me will thoroughly enjoy that end product, no matter how long it took to get there  Smiley .

Well we've broke 2010. I'm hoping this year brings Phantasian Productions only good luck!
I wonder if Cless will be able to work on Destiny: DC this year.

Other projects will be resumed once Phantasia's done.

And, well, Cless will be picking up work on Tales of Phantasia again very soon!

Yeah, I doubted this would happen that soon after the announcement, but I'd rather see ToD2 fully patched anyway. Since the menu patch is out already out (awhile ago) the project seems to be going better (or is it? lol) than this this one when mentioned in 09. I hope it doesn't get the "Hiatus thread"  Sad also  haha

It's not as if this project has been abandoned, it's just that we can't do everything at once. Both Cless and I still plan to return to this project, it just isn't top priority at the moment. I realize that's disappointing to some, but we have to establish priorities with so many different projects.

which would be "top priority" though  Huh ? I really doubt ToD DC, but since most of the DS ones are more or less finished (patch for all of them I think) I was actually wondering that myself. ToP maybe?

For me, checking the Graces translation is my current top priority. For Cless, Tales of Phantasia is the top priority. Once both are done, I expect that work will resume in earnest on Tales of Destiny.

Ah ok thanks for the reply Smiley I'm glad ppl are still working on ToG including you, but no offense, what's wrong w/ the current ToP patch (PSX I assume) Huh ? I haven't finished it, but it seems perfect so far for me, however, the PS2 ones really need more work to be done in my opinion.

I guess romhacking for the PS2 translations are more time consuming somewhat, depending which one and how long the game is. It's not up to me (either way I appreciate all the patches y'all make haha) obviously, but I think I'd be cooler to work on the newer Tales games that have no patches out yet Undecided

Cless will finish his Phantasia patch because he started his before the already released patch was released. Cless doesn't like quitting in the middle of things, and they've been at the patch (10+ years) and it would hurt the moral of the team if they had come so far just to quit.

Also, Cless is doing this on his free time, and he wants to do Phantasia PSX. So let him do so. He'll get to the other games eventually, and in the meantime, you can play games from other groups that are getting patches (Innocence, Vesperia PS3, Graces (f), Hearts, etc.)

Hey now I didn't say he shouldn't finish ToP (I hope he does actually haha), but I'm just wondering what's so bad w/ the ToP patch that's out now (hadn't finished, but it seems perfect so far).

It's only my opinion, but I think ToD2 deserves to be "top priority" over ToP since it has no full patch yet like ToP has somewhat (more or less lol). It's cool though I hope Cless eventually finishes both to honest, but since Cless is such a perfectionist I have no complaints about when it gets done haha.

I'm actually hoping Vesperia PS3 gets a localization announcement before the patch starts up.

Bartlebycs I second that lol, the last tales game on PS2 and on any sony console that got localized was ToA (my fav haha) shame on Namdai  for no PS3 ToV/ToG US release or bonus content Sad.

Oh well, I guess I'm just gonna make Bill Gates even more rich (regretably) and buy a 360 w/ ToV lol. Lets just hope Tales on PS3 makes a come back w/ a localized ToX in the future  haha.
