im courious, is what you left the project at around the time you put it on hiatus playable? or is their glareing huge glitches with what you done so far?

The two groups working on this are soooo close to finishing their own projects(Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Innocence). They decided to put all of their attention on those. It has nothing to do with bugs.

When I last had a conversation with Cless last week he said that it was going alright when he left it. The only thing he said was that he needed to re-write the dialogue inserter (may not have been the inserter... *checks PM*)

I probably shouldn't say much about the state of anything, but I may point out that the most recent build I've spent some time fooling around with (which is still a pretty old build, dating back to... uhm... probably last year), had some hawtness I probably shouldn't speak about (and a lot of stuff's been done between that time and *whenever it was things was put on hold*)

Anyway, there's a LOT left to do for the game, but it's actually still in pretty good shape as far as progress in general goes. As for the technical side of things, as far as I can remember... I don't think there's been any bugs beyond stuff related to text editing (Sorry! If I rewrite a line of text 'cause of a typo, stylistic error, because I just wanted to, or whatever, and that after it's been inserted into the game, then I call it a bug!)

I already know it is on hiatus. what I ment was dispite being on hiatus, was if it were to be released in its incomplete state now, dispite not being worked on for a couple months now, would it work fine enough  Tongue

Define "work fine enough".

A lot was up and running in the last proper build I had (half a year+ ago), which amazingly enough doesn't say much, 'cause even the ones dating back to over a year ago were "playable". However, a lot more was translated between the previous build I had and the hiatus announcement, so there's even lots of stuff I've only seen on paper.

throughhim said he encountered a problem with the Oberon Factory's password input when he was playing through with the last test patch. It'll probably be easy to fix when I get around to looking at it.

If Cless's memory served me right (or more like; what he said earlier about it) it might just be a tiny backfire of another alteration. Nothing that probably wont be too complicated to fix once the time comes. Time will tell.
