Well, I'm one of the few 'back then" guys of the fandom that never signed a certain petition for Tales of Destiny 2 and I still won't do it.  Not for that common spread one I mentioned, not for this one, or for any other one.  Also, this petition just doesn't convince me to do it otherwise.

I think this particular one seems to give so much of a "Namco is the enemy" vibe.  Really, am I the only one that never treated Namco like they're the enemy, even back then?  I mean, they're just doing business.

And just to sum it up, these online petition rarely work since it's so easy to forge signatures.

This petition is self-centered, whiney, and all-around just stupid. At least the last petition was intelligent. Speaking of the last petition, it already proved that almost no one over here wants this game (might have something to do with being a direct sequel to a game that was played by few and liked by fewer, but who knows). You don't need to drive the point home and prove Namco right again.

When you sign a petition to have a product released, you're promising to buy it in the event that it is released. I will neither lie nor waste my money to support a small group of crybabies.

Besides, I already signed the other one, back when I still wanted the game in English.

I recommend rewording the purpose to be more intellegent and less hateful of Namco. If you want them to do something, don't insult them while you're requesting it.

It'll never happen. Working Designs tried to work something out with Namco but they have no intention of letting it come to the states.

Well, excuse me for trying to give a reality check!  You can't really silence the truth.  I already mentioned that online petitions rarely works because it's so easy to forge signatures and is the equivalent of spam.  Besides, these petitions are more annoying than the response to these petitions.  Another thing, what makes you think that Namco's making a mistake?  I don't see any noteworthy mistakes made by them.

Geez, I can't believe there are still people crying over Tales of Destiny 2 not getting a North America release.  I would have thought it had died out when the year 2003 ended.

Someone popped a blood vessel! And probably also needs to grow up. Perhaps maybe if you can't accept logic and the reality, maybe you should take your own advice.

Tales of Destiny 2 is not coming to the USA. I would not have started this project unless I was absolutely sure. I've had four years to decide this. If you want ToD2 to come over official, be sure to buy 2 million copies of Abyss and maybe Namco will listen to you. Namco listens to money, not stupid annoying online petitions.

They've already released two Tales games that have followed up ToD2 over here, and another one is coming. Namco has yet to prove that they are willing to go back and pick up an older game.

And forget third parties. Namco are highly protective of their IPs. Working Designs indeed tried to negotiate the rights for ToD2. And it failed. There's also evidence that XSeed tried to negotiate rights to ToD2 and/or ToR, but that failed as well. ToP GBA was a special case; you just don't say no to BIG DADDY NINTENDO themselves. Namco did the localization of that themselves, though.

Give it up already.

And by the way. This a warning. You're not a mod. Don't tell people what to do, especially in the way you displayed. Or I'll be laying down the banhammer.
