Damn, hit a snag, but not a fatal one at least

It displays halfwidth characters in full width on the right. Sad

Too bad PS2 emulation is so primitive right now. If I had a code tracer I might be able to fix it easily.

But this slight problem won't jeopardize the release. If you can't figure out what tech you're selecting, Just open the info window and it'll display it without any overflowing.

Ohh~!  Thats so nice.  I always got confused about what skills I had equipped.  In fact, I found that my gameplay experience in ToD2 was limited dramatically simply becuase there was too much customization which I could not tkae advantage of as a result of being unable to understand the menu system.  Hopefully I will be able to use the full potential of enchants if the menu is in english.

It could very well be Liqueur. I think it might be that instead of Liquor because the official translations have translated them as Syrup Bottle... both to avoid the drinking reference and it's a convenient substitute since Liqueur is sweet according to that wiki entry.

Dictionary.com (Merriam-Webster's Medical Dictionary) has an entry for liquor that's "a solution of a medicinal substance usually in water," so either one makes about the same amount of sense. Liqueur is closer to the katakana though.

wow! cool! nice progress!  Cheesy hi cless! Smiley is there anything i can do to help? can u teach me how to do the rom hacking and translate them? I'm a big fan of Tales series. Is there any way I can help? I'm going to commit myself into the project coz I have fallen in love with the tales series since the first (tales of destiny) and it will be a waste if those great tales games are not translated into english.

cheers!

liqueur refers specifically to syrupy/possibly medicinal alcohol. liquor sounds like a bottle of jack. i'd say the former is probably the better localization.

It might be worth my while to buy a PSP now. I tend to buy systems, for games when I get the money.  Such as buying GBA for Shining Soul and Shining Soul 2 (Which weren't worth by the way) and last, but not least, Shining Force: ROTDD(which was a fairly good game.)

Good to know The Tales series has been jolted back to life with some interesting games to be released.
