Wow, moving right along.  1.16 MB of text files, that's intense.  How did that compare to the size of the script for ToP PSX?  Or has the full script dump not yet happened for that?

He mentioned it was about twice Phantasia's a couple of posts up.

Good to hear Cless, I'm really excited for that Menu Only Patch!

Yes, good to hear.

As its legality is questionable I won't provide it directly Google for "scph1001.bin" or "scph7502.bin".

Currently going through the pain of writing a script inserter... not that the script is translated yet. But I might have preliminary translations up through the first town soon. Probably make some screens once I can insert them.

I just started reading the script...
Why is Loni called Reala?

Is that a bug or something?

redownload it, I replaced it with a fixed version the other day.

Also, script inserter works great... tried it today with some made up test dialogue.

Nice to see a new slur of updates on the main site Cless, great stuff. With so many new RPGs coming out that would be proving to be mighty distractions (FF XII/VP Silmeria/Tales of the Abyss/etc) and real life goings-on I can understand how it would put a delay on projects like this. Best of luck nonetheless, and keep up the good work (that's to all who are involved.)

Fran Brave
I need to see this in action.

Aqua Rims (Aqua Egde)
This was easy. First off, Rim means the outer often curved or circular edge or border of something. The syn of rim would be Egde. Thus, Auqa Edge.

Earth Tapper (See note)
Earth Shaker/Ground Dasher

Embrace End (Final Embrace)
Going with the TOL version here.

Gran Vanish
I need to see this in action.

If I could get a video of these spells....then I'd make better suggestions=/

I'm aware it's awfully late, but I made the videos anyway. Tongue

Embrace End -> Aqua Rims

Ancient Nova -> Flame Brave
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jFpsWHGBxM

Grand Vanisher -> Earth Tapper
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxNXcw-INwk

Quality sucks, but not much I can do. Original looked great, but after uploading it lost a ton of detail.

I can provide a higher quality version, if anyone cares.

It's not a patch, it's a script. No script translation has been inserted yet, so for now Cless has dumped the Japanese script for people to look at.

I always make this to see what i get...
Let's make the same exercise with a less complex language (spanish).

Original:
I would love to have some tea with you on Sunday.

Spanish:
Amaría comer algo de té con usted el domingo
Not so bad, uses "comer" (to eat) instead of "tomar" (to drink), and uses "amor" (love) , the kind of love you feel for someone.
Also, the gramatic is a little wierd, but correct.

Back to english:
It would love eating something of tea with you Sunday
My, my... This is no good... Something is just not right with this... I don't know... Everything, maybe?? The translation speaks for itself

In fact it should say on spanish: "Me encantaria tomar el té contigo el domingo"  Grin
So yes. I think too than the online translators aren't good.
