ION is a BOY.
Though he obviously looks like a girl XD.

..wait you must have been joking, you've played Abyss XD. Unless you have a twin arguing in that Abyss Vs Vesperia topic over on the other forums XD.

It's Tales. Where young guys look like girls, at least one girl has teh bewbs, and Norio Wakamoto always punishes you for using items.

Half the game I thought Ion was a gal, until I noticed they referred Ion as "him", rather than "her".
And how the hell can sync be the replica if he sounds so much more like a man?

he does? he sounds more like a prepubescent boy. not surprising, since he acts about as immature as one!

This is getting boring now, I'd rather see new information than offtopic conversation.

I have a doubt .
the patch will be released with the buttons as they are in the U.S. and Europe(x to select and O to go back)?
It would be great if so, but if you dont want, or you dont know how to do it, there is no problem.
it's just that me and many others are used to be that way.

As far as I know, there are currently no plans to invert X/O to follow the post-1998-ish US PlayStation standard.

I actually prefer the original Japanese controls. They make more sense. Why would "X", something you use to cross something out or indicate it is not allowed, be the affirmative button?

it goes both ways, though. why would you use red, a color normally associated with warning and danger, for the affirmative button?

I don't like either defaults, so the symbology of the shapes/colors are meaningless to me. Tongue Moving my thumb to upper right to use artes just feels wrong on the US layout, and I hate how far away the defend button is from the regular attack button in the JP layout. (note that Vesperia US actually uses the JP battle layout by default, at least on 360, so they might be doing that from now on for battles)

I liked how Symphonia for GameCube reconfigured it due to its lack of diamond formation of its face buttons. It fixed both issues I had with the standard layouts and is thus far more fluid for me. To make it more like this on the PS1/2/3 controller, I set artes to square, attack to X, and defend to O (and equivalents on the 360 controller for Vesperia).

So anyway...
Is this project on hiatus until Phantasia is finished like Destiny: DC?
