Fran Brave
I need to see this in action.
Aqua Rims
(Aqua Egde)
This was easy. First off, Rim means
the outer often curved or circular edge or border of something.
The syn of rim would be Egde. Thus, Auqa Edge.
Earth Tapper
(See note)
Earth Shaker/Ground Dasher
Embrace End
(Final Embrace)
Going with the TOL version here.
Gran Vanish
I need to see this in action.
If I could get a video of these spells....then I'd make better suggestions=/

I'd say a patch release (for the original version) is possibly around the corner. Most menus aside from descriptions are translated now. Mostly need to polish some things up.
NOT TRANSLATED
:
Dialogue, skits (duh, this is only going to be a menu patch for now)
Title menu (level up bonuses ARE)
Melee techs (still displayed with kanji, furigana in description window has been romanized)
Most item descriptions
KNOWN BUGS/ANNOYANCES
:
Sometimes item images get messed up or display the wrong image
Some cooking messages messed up.
Some text may spill over the text boxes a little.
Tech menu is UGLY. The main tech list does NOT display half-width characters in half-width, and does so in full width. The translated spell names tend to overlap and make it kind of hard to read.
Character name in status menu is also full-width-only. This shouldn't be a problem with anyone except Harold, since her name is so long
If you choose to play a patched copy on an existing save game, character last names and cooking recipes you already have
WILL NOT
translate. This is because the game stores these in the save file.
I don't know how to fix any of these problems at this time so bear with us.

The font used in ToD2 is all in UpperCase i know but the game source don't accept any resize form?
But anyway great work. Soon or later i can play ToD2 understanding somethings UAIEhuieahUIH! Thanks a lot.
Now I'm waiting for ToP patch. I'm going to wait for it nearly forever (LoL) but still waiting and hoping to work perfectly or near that point!
Thanks!

I wonder when all this is done, should I add it to my FAQ?
Another question for the Attacking skills for the character, (the ones written in Kanji)
their is a parentesis and then written in Katakana. Any reason why?

That's what I mean by furigana. All of them will be romanized in the patch.

Some cooking messages messed up.
Crushed this.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I just ordered a new, faster DVD burner that can burn +RW discs at 8x along with some 8x +RW discs. That will make testing a lot less painful than with the 2.4x I've been stuck with. Takes about 20-25 minutes to get a test disc ready, this should cut the time in half or so...

Awesome. Good job!
I just thought of something: How many DVDs have you gone through testing this?!

Thankfully my PS2 reads RWs without a hitch. Although I have wasted about 5 or 6 regular +R discs (for those tests I was a bit more impatient to see the results, can burn regular Rs faster with this drive)

I've been told burning at high speeds is not good for games and makes the games more error-prone when playing. I assume you know what you're doing though.

It's baseless NOW but it's not a myth. Burning speed actually affected the first generation CD-ROM systems (NEC and Sega) for some reason. I know it doesn't make sense on the surface, as the CD writer is just writing 0s and 1s, but if I recall correctly it had something to do with the error correction capabilities of the early drives. I still have a PC-Engine Duo and a Sega X-Eye and they are VERY picky about it (most drives don't write below 8x now so I had to find an old drive to burn stuff, I'm not kidding).

Yeah, on current machines, you need to burn -r medias at the speed they were made to be burned.
Don't try to burn a 16x media at 2x speed or you'll be sorry.
The best thing to do is to burn a disc to its certified speed, but only if it is not also the maximum speed of your burner. Burning discs at a burner's maximum speed can create errors.

I've never owned those systems. The oldest CD system I've owned is a revised model of the first gen PS1 (SCPH-1001). Sometimes it was finicky about burning speeds but as I've now learned over the times it was probably a media/drive quality issue.
Nowadays it's best to burn discs at their rated speed, especially DVDs. And if the media's made by a quality manufacturer you might even be able to overspeed them without any significant loss in burn quality.
CDs on the other hand, not quite as much. Still, burning them really slowly can be bad. I get the best quality results on my CDs at 24x. Higher is slightly worse but not significantly so.
I generally only use AAA quality media (manufactured by Taiyo Yuden). Too bad they don't make RWs...

How do your PS2 read DVD-RWs?
